Join Ulrika Dezé, founder of Yogamini Paris , organizer of the yoga events at the musée Guimet, and author of Le Yoga de Kika, and Cécile Becker, doctor in Indian Art History at Paris IV Sorbonne and author of Le Bouddhisme, for a weekend dedicated to the vitality of the natural world. This retreat will join the practices of yoga and meditation to the great symbols of Asian art.
The first day will be devoted to the discovery of two essential motifs in Indian culture: the tree and the lotus. Both will be approached theoretically and posturally thanks to the support of major works of Indian art. Just as with yoga exercises, these artworks develop our sensory acuity, and will permit us to spend the second day invested in the present moment, and to enter into a sympathetic relationship with the world around us.
There will also be a concert at the end of day on Saturday, in which pianist and composer Alain Kremski will play a recital featuring pieces by Liszt, Wagner, Satie, Gurdjieff…
Retreat fee includes all instruction, housing and full board. Fees for spa access and concert are extra. Possibility of arriving the day before for a supplementary 50€/night.
The weekend is open to all, and is limited to 10 to 16 participants.
