Le Moderne Yoga Teacher Training with Rachelle Tersigni and Samuel Urtado (200-Hr Yoga Alliance Certified)

This training is taught by Rachelle Tersigni and Samuel Urtado of Osteo Yoga. We specialize in teaching to a wide population with a range of abilities. Our training focuses on learning how to be an adaptable teacher teaching to the needs of the students. 

This training will cover:

  • Teaching Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin classes

  • Learning Anatomy and Biomechanics from an Osteopath D.O and Yoga Teacher

  • How to understand emotions in the body ‘le language émotionnel du corps’

  • Meditation -understand the scientific benefits and yogic understanding of meditation

  • Yogic Thought, History, background and significance in the modern world

  • The application of Patanjali Yoga Sutras in everyday’s life

  • How to sequence a class - using Vinyasa Krama and Sequencing with the Elements

  • Learn how to adapt your class to people with physical pains and/or nervous tensions. The Yellow and red flags of yoga.

  • The Psychology of Chakras

  • Yoga Nidra and the Relaxation Response

  • Introduction to Ayurveda

  • Practice teaching and receiving support and feedback about your teaching to improve quickly

  • Learn how to assist students with the limits of the body

This training is held on the weekends in Paris from 8h to 19h at Somasana in the 8eme. It is a bilingual Training, you must feel comfortable in English as some parts will be done solely in English. Depending on the students some parts can be entirely in French or both English and French.

The dates are from October 12th 2019 to January 19th, 2020.
