SPACE qualities are immediacy, directness, freedom and being. Its fundamental expression is consciousness or awareness. It leads to a direct, and deep awareness of that which is occurring, free from imagination, assumption, projection, and expectation.
A practical and accessible five-part workshop series focusing on the 5 elements (Mahabhuta): Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space.
Through asana, pranayama, svadhyaya, myth stories, journaling, and meditation, we will be reminded of how the human body is made up of all these essential elements and the correlation to the five senses.
Each month the sequence will be designed to help tap into these sensations, moving from the gross to subtle, becoming more aware of what it means to be out of synch with these sensations and how it affects our lives.
There will be practical take-aways for application to life off the mat.
