Nothing in the world is fixed or static, there are no straight lines in the universe. Everything is moving in a constant wave motion ~ from one atom vibrating to the great swirl of the galaxies. When we move with this level of awareness we start to feel that the body is the link to the whole universe and practices centred around the body are a gateway towards experiencing that flow of nature inside.
Through this spiralling, multi-dimensional prana vinyasa flow, you are invited to embody the great truth that what is what is out there, exists also inside. Breath, blood, muscles and bone are of the earth; they are the air, rivers, animals and minerals inside, not separate to, but the same.
By meditating on the body as nature, our attention is drawn to the foundations of existence and our place within the cosmos. This full-spectrum journey, incorporating energising vinyasa, slow-motion simmering and yin-full surrender, accompanied by a soaring live soundscape of voice and guitar, is a call for conscious connection with ourselves, and the world around us.
A weekend of exhilarating Masterclasses, Workshops & Live Music with Lara Zilibowitz, Brooke Elliston and musician Benny Holloway.
About Lara and Brooke, Back2Roots Retreats:
Co-founders of Back2Roots Retreats, leading workshops and hosting transformative yoga and meditation retreats around the world, Lara & Brooke have studied and trained under many lineages and incredible teachers and swamis and when they’re not globe-trotting, are based at BodyMindLife studios in Sydney.
Together, they share a passion for embodied movement, ancient yogic philosophy and creative expression. Their aim is to ignite a spark deep inside that changes your very way of being on and off the mat, into one that is more open, and more connected to yourself and others. For these workshops they will be accompanied by the soulful sounds of Ben Holloway, a skillful self-taught musician who loops and weaves his voice with guitar to create psychedelic ambient sound baths to encourage that deeper state of connection.
